    Responsibilities

    We are seeking qualified Construction Inspectors for the 5 boroughs of NYC. Responsibilities include the following:

    • Review construction documents and advise the Construction Project Manager of potential issues.
    • Supervise the contractor personnel performing home renovations.
    • Coordinate / document the work and progress of multiple contractors.
    • Ensure specifications are followed with emphasis on quality and safety.
    • Assist the Construction Project Manager in evaluating change order proposals, reviewing contractor submittals and preparing comprehensive daily reports.

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates will possess the following experience and skills:

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience on construction inspections; experience with home construction inspection or railroad inspection is a plus.
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
    • Proven ability in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
    • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach working with both Client and construction contractor/subcontractors.
