    Our growth has created an immediate need for a qualified Resident Engineer for various transit, rail or road construction projects in New York City.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    Demonstrate the ability to supervise a staff of Inspectors/Field Engineers as required to meet the needs of the Client and project ($20-$100 M range).

    Qualifications

     

    • 8-10 years’ work experience in all conventional aspects of Construction Management including review and enforcement of the contractor’s approved Quality and Safety Plans.
    • General knowledge of standard methods of construction, and engineering practices, as well as the ability to use sound professional judgement with respect to the contractor’s execution of work.
    • Will be responsible for review, and provide comments relative to contractor’s shop drawings, requests for information (RFI’s), work plans, technical correspondence, and other project information, and must be able to supervise the daily activities of the Construction Inspectors/Field Engineers assigned to the Project.  
    • Will report to the Project Manager or directly to the Client, as dictated by the needs of the project.  
    • Candidates with a Professional Engineers License are preferred.
