We are actively seeking a Structural Engineer with 10+ years’ experience in our Rochester, NY office.


    Our Design Engineering division has an immediate need for a Structural Engineer to build, lead and manage a group dedicated to bridges and building structures, inspections, assessments and structural design.  Responsibilities include project management, design, and quality control review.  In addition to design engineering duties, the individual will also assist in the preparation of technical proposals.



    Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 10 years of experience in the design of bridges, buildings, retaining walls, foundations and other structures.  License as a New York State Professional Engineer required.  Experience leading a structural inspection/assessment and structural design team and contributing to proposal preparation efforts preferred. Qualified candidates will possess knowledge and experience in the following areas:

    • Structural bridge, retaining wall and foundation design software
    • Inspection and assessment of bridges and buildings
    • Geotechnical assessment/design
    • Managing projects to meet budget and schedule requirements
    • Experience with key public agencies including NYSDOT, NYCDOT, NYCDDC, NYCDPR, NYCEDC, PANY&NJ, NCDPW, SCDPW
