    Projects are located in Massachusetts and surrounding states. 

     

    We are seeking a Construction Estimator with emphasis on preparation of final pricing and competitive bid efforts as well as conceptual estimates for vertical construction of private and public clients.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities: 

    • Prepare instructions to bidders, scopes of work, bid forms, etc.
    • Prepare subcontractor/vendor bid list.
    • Determine labor and equipment costs.
    • Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and materials pricing.
    • Review and understand all bid documents and assess project risks.
    • Understand project logistics and project schedule.
    • Review quotes and estimates with the Project Management Team.
    • Actively perform pre-construction duties and participate in meetings with Clients, Owners, and Engineers. 

    Qualifications

    Qualifications: 

    • Competitive and negotiation experience preferred.
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering or Architecture also preferred.
    • 7 - 15 years’ experience estimating construction projects.
    • Advanced computer skills with estimating software and MS Office.
    • Knowledge of construction costs and engineering principles.
    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
    • Excellent communications skills.
