We have an immediate need for a Abatement Project Manager for a high-profile project throughout the five boroughs.

• Assist Program Construction Manager with daily updates of performance metrics including support and coordination of systems and team members to ensure timely reporting
• Coordinate with outreach and relocation of residents
• Supervise team of 5 – 10 team members in the removal of lead from residence apartments
• Update various data sheets, systems, metrics and tracking systems
• Establish, maintain and update baseline schedule of abatements and associated work elements
• Assign abatement projects and work orders to existing and new abatement contractors
• Coordinate with the outreach and relocation team for resident coordination, move-outs, temporary residential accommodations and return to their homes.
• Ensure that standard operating procedures are developed, tested and implemented across all team members
• Schedule and supervise dust wipe tests and inspections for lead
• Review team member duties and performance
• Other duties as assigned and or necessary for the successful removal of lead from all apartments

• 5 years of residential construction experience with an emphasis on lead abatement
• Bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution with an emphasis on environmental, construction, engineering or business operations or four years of applicable experience
• Experience with residential construction especially related to abatement of lead in New York State and or New York City
• Ability working collaboratively with residents, building managers and superintendents, trade works, abatement contractors, inspectors and consultant staff
• Excellent communication skills
