LiRo is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Office Engineer for a high-profile project in lower Manhattan.

• Monitor and track project schedule and budget
• Interface with municipal client and contractors
• Coordinate and track all project plans and drawings
• Assist Resident Engineer with change orders, RFI’s, submittals, and response letters to the contractors
• Prepare and maintain project records including weekly and monthly project status reports
• Attend monthly progress meetings and create minutes of the meeting

• Baccalaureate degree in engineering from an accredited college
• 5+ years of office engineering experience for public sector clients
• Qualified for ASCE Grade III, or NICET Grade III
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of MS Office applications
• Knowledge of construction management software a plus
• The ability to multi-task, handling numerous concurrent requests
• The ability to work as a team player
• Strong interpersonal skills
