Our continued growth has created an immediate need for a Junior Engineer located in Albany, NY.

The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).

• Project control activities including project document management, RFI and IB tracking, contract document review
• Organize project files and information and update OGS information management system
• Assist in changes to scope, prepare estimates and negotiate new project scope
• Perform walkthroughs with contractor as needed
• Assist with monitoring contract implementation, quality of work and materials
• Inspect task execution in accordance with the plans and specifications
• Maintain weekly and monthly project work plans for scope, budget, schedule, and safety objectives
• Coordinate meetings, provide agenda and minutes
• Follow up on deliverables
• Track project schedule
• Provide reports to the management team
• Write work orders/check contracts for duration, money, wage rates
• Review contract documents on Bluebeam
• Other administrative duties associated with the project 

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related program
• (2) years of experience on smaller projects valued above $1 million
• Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and the review of payments
• Basic skills for utilization of scheduling applications
• Computer proficiency in MS Office and Bluebeam
