Due to our continued growth we are seeking a Senior Bridge Structural Engineer capable of steel and concrete bridge design to join our team in Edison, New Jersey.

• Perform a wide range of structural engineering analysis and design tasks for steel superstructure, concrete substructure, and foundation design
• Sufficient experience to design and detail steel elements and connections for bridge and building structures as per AASHTO, ACI, ASCE codes of design
• Perform site work related to inspection and assessment of bridges, buildings, and retaining walls
• Complete and review design calculations; assist in the preparation of drawings and specifications
• Provide responses and solutions to issues during the construction administration phase of projects
• Coordinate work product with other in-house engineering staff and architects

• Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering
• 7-10 years of related experience
• PE License required
• Understanding and application of AASHTO code requirements
• Experience in using various structural analysis software
• Excellent communication skills with command on technical report writing for design projects
• Additional knowledge or experience with Bulkhead (Marine structures) design, soil classifications and building foundation retrofit is a plusOSHA 10 Minimum Certification
