Due to our continued growth, we are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our expanding MEP design team in our Edison, New Jersey Office.   

• Field survey of existing mechanical, fire protection, and plumbing systems
• Design of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems for commercial, industrial, and healthcare facilities
• Preparation of construction documents including drawings, specifications, calculations, and details
• Approval of mechanical submittals and aid in RFI responses during construction administration
• Will serve as Lead Mechanical Project Engineer on all types of projects
• Knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD and other design computer software to complete assigned work (i.e. Trane Trace, Carrier HAPs)

• 10+ years of relevant HVAC design experience
• New Jersey PE License required
• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Knowledge of various New Jersey Building Codes
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to serve as MEP project manager on certain projects
• Experienced meeting strict deadlines and able to work well under pressure
• Ability to work on several projects at once
• Capable of providing technical direction and on-the-job training to less experienced designers
