Our continued growth has created an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer in Albany, NY.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with local power utility companies for new/upgrades of electrical service
  • Electrical system analysis and calculations
  • Design of electrical power, control, and lighting systems from service to load
  • Service room layout, utility conduit coordination, grounding and lighting protection
  • Prepare design narrative and feasibility reports
  • Use engineering and design computer software to complete assigned work 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10 years of relevant experience
  • Able to meet strict deadlines and work well under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task on several projects at once
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to pro-actively collaborate during the design and construction process
