We have an immediate need for a Sr. Project Engineer for our Jones Beach, NY project site.

Recently, Global Infrastructure Solutions Inc. (GISI), the parent company of The LiRo Group and Hill International, Inc. consolidated a portion of the highly experienced staff of both LiRo and Hill in the Northeast to create a larger, more efficient, and cost-effective team to serve clients.  LiRo-Hill is a 1100-person firm with offices in NYC, Long Island, Buffalo, Rochester, Boston and Metro Park, NJ.

 

The client for this project is the NYS Office of General Services (OGS).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain effective communication and working relationship with consultants and construction management firms.
  • Develop and maintain office policies and procedures related to this position.
  • Perform other research and analysis as required.
  • Review consultant Financial Statements to identify the ratio of direct labor (billable) expenses in relation to indirect labor expenses in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (Part 31, Cost Principals and Procedures). The following Financial Statements are part of the review process: Audited Financial Statements, Internal Financial records, Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, Financial records with FAR audit notes
  • Identify, clarify, and assist in the negotiation of expenses that are deemed nonallowable or outside of the FAR regulations.
  • Assist in the negotiation of an overhead rate based on the Financial Statements and FAR regulations.
  • Development of a five-year Wage Rate Schedule for use by the Division of Contract Management in processing the contracts to OSC for approval.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Multi Trade Experience including electrical and mechanical
  • 4+ years of experience on projects valued at $10 million+
  • Knowledge of RFI tracking and contract documentation
  • Ability to perform payment review and preparation
  • Able to multi-task and handle numerous concurrent requests
  • Knowledge of construction management software a+
  • Computer proficiency in MS Office
  • OSHA 30
  • Travel required - Must have reliable transportation and drivers’ license

  • Compensation:  Minimum: $90,000 Maximum: $130,000
  • The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position

Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidate’s qualifications and location
