Immediate Opening – Preconstruction Office Engineer 
Location: Albany, NY | Division: Contract Management 

This role supports the NYS Office of General Services (OGS) in advertising, bidding, and awarding public construction contracts.

• Prepare and review contract documents for public construction projects.

• Manage advertisement and bid process; audit bids for compliance.

• Coordinate pre-award contract administration and submissions to the Office of the State Comptroller.

• Oversee procurement, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality goals are met.

• 5+ years’ construction experience on projects over $1M.

• Knowledge of RFI tracking, contract review, scheduling, and payment processing.

• Experience in construction procurement (public sector preferred).

• Proficient in MS Office;

• OSHA 10 required.

• Strong communication skills; attention to detail.
