Responsibilities

Information Technology Specialist - Design & Construction Team

 

  • Act as the Design and Construction Technical Representative with ITS.
  • Interact with D&C staff to understand issues and determine appropriate path for resolution of requests.
  • Address IT-Related issues that do not require the services of ITS.
  • Submit appropriate requests on behalf of D&C to ITS via the ticketing management system. To include onboarding and offboarding requests, incident requests, software requests, etc.
  • Coordinate with requestors to obtain appropriate information, documentation, and approvals.
  • Monitor progress and status of tickets submitted to ensure appropriate and timely resolution of issues and requests.
  • Facilitate follow-up communications, as necessary, to ensure completion of requests.
  • Communicates and coordinates with internal business units and outside agency representatives (e.g., ITS, SFS) necessary for the administration of data systems. 
  • Actively works with the many business units within the D&C to assess IT program needs and requirements. 
  • Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve system utilization and functionality. 

 

Qualifications

Requirements

  • 2+ years of SharePoint Developer/Administrator experience, in SharePoint Online (MS Office 365) including: Managing SP sites, site collections, creating standard and custom SP sites, lists, libraries, and complex applications, and managing permissions
  • Knowledge of SharePoint tools, including ULS Logs, workflows, and SharePoint forms for tasks
  • Familiarity in all MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • shall possess experience in the field of Computer Aided Design & Drafting applications with the ability to perform daily monitoring and maintenance of software
    and workstations, 
  • IT customer support and training;computer installation, diagnosis and repair; computer security; database
    administration and maintenance information technology.
  • Provide translation of electronic files from various consultant formats to Micro-Station format in order to be
    compatible with existing D&C standards.
  • Provide training and refresher updates and assist users in the performance of their routine drafting tasks.
  • Familiarity in all MS Office products, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently.

  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package and a positive work environment
  • Compensation: Min $60,000 to Max $72,000
  • The range provided is the salary that the Firm in good faith believes at the time of this posting is willing to pay for the advertised position. 

Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location

 

  • The selected candidate must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
